Khurshid Qureshi , Ph.D. – CEO & President
Dr.
Qureshi has more than 20 years of experience in aerospace, satellite
communications, security, fiber optics, and automotive industries.
Dr.
Qureshi was past president of the University One Card System and was a
senior executive at General Motors (Saturn and On-Star) and MTI. As
Director of Advanced Technology at General Motors, he was responsible
for transferring Hughes Aerospace and Satellites technologies to
automotive applications. Dr. Qureshi co-founded EcomNet, a Silicon
Valley B2B company in 1998. Dr. Qureshi, along with other
executive team members, was responsible for the increase in sales of a
bankrupt division of a multinational, to $160 Million with EBITDA of
$25 Million.
Dr. Qureshi holds 10 US and international
patents. He is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and the Stuart
School of Business. He is also a graduate of the Senior Executive
Management Program at Anderson School of Business at the University of
California, in Los Angeles.
John D. Norgard, Ph.D. – Chief Scientist
Dr.
Norgard is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology (BSEE) and
California Institute of Technology (MS Ph.D.). He also has
post doctorate degree in Geophysics at the University of Oslo .
Dr.
Norgard is a world-renowned scientist in the field of RF and antenna
design and development with experience at the Jet Propulsion Lab, the
United States Air Force Academy and University of Colorado in Colorado
Springs. He is an IEEE Fellow and Associate Editor of IEEE/EMC
Transactions – Antennas. He is a past Research Fellow at AFSOR, Rome
Labs.
Dr. Norgard is a board member of the National Academy of
Science/ National Research Council and various other scientific boards.
He has written numerous papers in the field of communication, RF and
electromagnetic measurements.
Scott Gruber, Ph.D. – Product Development Manager
Dr.
Gruber is responsible for development and simulation of advanced
antenna designs for zeeWAVES. His specialty is planar designs for the
2.4 and 5.8 Ghz band, and Frequency Selective Surfaces in the X-band.
Prior
to zeeWAVES, Dr. Gruber was with Digital Equipment Corporation. Dr.
Gruber received his degree in electrical engineering with an emphasis
on electromagnetics.
Gloria Qureshi – Director of Manufacturing and Co-Founder:
Mrs.
Qureshi has an MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of
Detroit and BS and MS degrees from Western Illinois
University. She has 15 years design and manufacturing experience in
different positions with GM, Chrysler and MSXI.
Her expertise is
in the area of material sciences and polymers. She had managed vehicle
interior programs which included body electronic modules and other
electrical systems.
